It is well overtime for the Church, which I love, to value and treat women as equals as Jesus did. I am not asking for ordination to priesthood (but that could be a possibility for those women who feel called).
Since women make up more than half the 1.2 billion Catholics, it is time to acknowledge the gifts and values that a woman’s perspective can give to key decisions and leadership roles in the Catholic Church. It is all very well to have female representation at Synods but it remains a mystery why women do not have a right to vote at these Synods.
