We need to talk honestly and openly about women in decision making roles in the Catholic Church. I am a new Catholic and have been inspired by meeting the spirit of the divine framed through a catholic lens. However, I cannot bear the discrimination and absolutely unsustainable commitment to not allowing women to be ordained. It is the feminine heart of God that is so powerful in helping understand love. The idolatry of theology and scriptural references that keep woman under patriarchal domination makes me feel ashamed to be a part of what is otherwise an inspirational tradition. Please consider our sisters and do not dismiss their divine image by keeping them from ordination.
